The Opportunity:
Morgan Est Plc has entered into a 4 + 5 year contract with EDF to provide a facility for the refurbishment and maintenance of their existing electrical 11kV and LV Overhead line distribution networks in the East Anglia area.
Main purpose of role
The effective and safe management of a combined MorganEst and subcontracted labour resource to maintain the client’s projects to programme, cost and budget.
The development of new business and sustain existing business in a defined area or sector.
The provision of best value to the client by working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
Key Aims & Objectives:
• Deliver the clients stated work volumes in a timely manner, safely and to the agreed budgets
• Manage the appropriate costs within the contract parameters ensuring maximum utilisation of resources
• Develop the efficiency of the business processes, introducing appropriate control measures to generate reliable management information
• Promote good relations and communications between clients, Morgan Est Operational staff and Project Management staff within the Business Centre.
• Manage business development for both existing and new clients.
You will be responsible for:
• Implementing the appropriate Morgan Est policies and procedures and initiatives
• Delivering the tendered margin
• Managing the programme of works effectively and efficiently
• Developing systems and procedures to embed best practice
• Management of sub-contracts
• Achieving profitable business results
