The Opportunity:
Morgan Est Plc in partnership with Balfour Beatty and United Utilities has secured a 7 year contract for maintaining and replacing the gas network in the North of England (Yorkshire). The contract has a possibly of an extension for a further 5 years.
The main purpose of the role will be to be responsible for the day to day running of the Control Room.
The successful candidate will:
• Be working closely with the Business Support Manager to ensure smooth running and coordination of the Control Room.
• Be responsible for the delegation of duties within the Control Room.
• Responsible for ensuring data is input into PPS, before deadlines.
• Be able to maintain efficient Office Admin systems
• Be able to maintain good working relationships with internal departments
• Be able to build and maintain relationship with external partners.
• Be able to manage 6 direct reports. Monitoring sickness, preparing holiday rotas, dealing in minor disciplinary issues.
