The Opportunity:
The Pavement Team is a partnering framework agreement originally awarded in Nov 1995 for the project management, design and construction of major airfield works at BAA’s SouthEast Airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted & Southampton).
Since November 1995, the team has completed over 120 projects, valued at over £280 million, undertaken at all 4 of BAA’s SE airports. Projects include new stands, asphalt overlays, stand reconstruction and new taxiways and major maintenance projects such as runway resurfacing and taxiway reconstruction. These are particularly challenging due to the need to minimise disruption to the operation of the airport.
Experience:
As the successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial elements of the project and providing assistance and guidance to the site teams previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
