The Opportunity:
This framework involves the upgrade, modification and enhancement of Severn Trent’s water and sewerage treatment facilities across Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham and Gloucestershire, involving projects from £150k to £40m. Morgan Est’s multi-disciplinary teams provide mechanical, electrical and civil engineering services to deliver projects through all their phases of design, construction, installation and commissioning. The framework is based upon a collaborative alliance approach and enables all parties to share best practice and continuous improvement initiatives, delivering consistent best value. The framework runs until 2010.
The Role:
Assists the Production of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Plans
Delivers end product to client’s satisfaction.
Ensures accurate implementation of all engineering controls.
Delivers performance in key areas of health and safety, environment and quality
Organises site labour, equipment, material and sub-contract resources.
Takes and active role in promoting continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. client and supplier feedback, back to basics, knowledge management)
Assists management of interface with Mechanical and Electrical design and installation.
Implements appropriate Morgan Est policies and procedures among stakeholders
Takes an active role in cost management of project.
