Morgan Est lifts bridge into place at Denham Station
29 April 2008

Infrastructure specialist Morgan Est has lifted an 11.5 metre span footbridge into position using a mobile crane at Denham Station in North London.  The work forms part of a project to improve passenger access to the station.

Working for John Laing Partnerships on behalf of Chiltern Railways, Morgan Est’s rail division is upgrading the station in line with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

The project involves building a new platform, footbridge and staircases at the station, as well as installing new passenger lifts.

Work is due to be completed by July 2008.
