Morgan Est is undertaking piling work at the new M74 Port Eglington viaduct in Glasgow. The works involve piling to two abutments, 11 piers and two temporary trestles and is spread over 750m with both rail and road interfaces. The piles are rotary-bored using bentonite support fluid and vary between 900mm diameter and 1,200mm in diameter and are 40m deep founded in rock.
