Brief Description
Morgan Est in a consortium with ABB and Atkins has been appointed by National Grid to deliver major enhancements to the existing 400kV electricity transmission system covering the Midlands, North West England and North Wales. This £600 million contract, worth some £175 million to Morgan Est, is a five-year Area Alliance Agreement with an option to extend for a further five years.
The core scope of our supply includes development, detailed design and construction of the Civil Engineering infrastructure for transmission substations. Each scheme is varied in complexity and scale, the values of which typically range from £10 million to £50 million.
