Brief Description
Construction of a 1.3km bridge over the Medway including balanced cantilever and incremental launched bridge and a small bridge over the London and Chatham Railway in Kent to carry the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
The award-winning 1.3km Medway Bridge, which was built in a 24m wide corridor, is the most complex prestressed concrete railway bridge in the UK. It was constructed using balanced cantilever and incremental launch techniques.
