Brief Description
Design, build, test and commissioning of a 9.4 km tunnel, with an internal diameter up to 4 metres located under Belfast city centre leading to the Duncrue Wastewater Treatment Works. A three year programme worth £92m, which also includes full mechanical and electrical support. The works include the construction of a new terminal pumping station, a new 6,000m³ stormwater tank and marine outfall and 26 individual shafts up to 16 metres internal diameter. The project is due for completion in August 2009.
