We believe that embedding the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within our business is key to a successful future and, by balancing the economic, social and environmental considerations of all of our operations, we aim to align our competitive interests with those of our partners and the wider society.
Our CSR, which respects the rights of individuals and the wider community, extends to everything we do, everything we buy and sell, and how these affect the environment. Across all our operations we are committed to waste reduction programmes, waste management techniques, responsible energy use, and improvements to air and water quality. We are also committed to supporting many local community programmes, to help deliver a sustainable future for all.
In order to help bring about the cultural changes posed by CSR, we have a dedicated CSR forum to help review our progress on these matters and to set the tone and direction of our CSR efforts in the future. The forum has developed a CSR policy and formulated a CSR strategy which is continually reviewed and measured.
