Modern Apprenticeships
We are breaking new ground with our utility modern apprenticeships.
We are one of the first employers to offer an apprenticeship in the following areas:

Gas Network Operations - service and mains laying

Water Network Operations - service and mains laying
-
Electric Network Operations - Cable laying and overhead lines
Apprentices work within a small team of 3-4 and learn on the job. They will also attend college in blocks of one week at a time for about 12 weeks per year, ultimately achieving an NVQ level 3 in their chosen trade.
Apprentices are supported by work-based mentors and assessors as well as our hand-picked training providers.
You'll be paid a training rate, but it increases every time you reach a milestone. The opportunity to progress is limitless.

Apprentice pay starts at around £160 per week rising to £300 per week in your final year.
